Osi Ledbetter
Born and raised in the Piedmont bioregion of Georgia, Osi Ledbetter’s connection with the natural world was nurtured in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southern Appalachia. His fascination with the interplay between nature and human development led him to pursue an MA in Ecopsychology at Naropa University.

Furthering his explorations into the natural world, Osi spent a year at Wilderness Awareness School in Western Washington as part of the adult immersion program, learning the core routines of a naturalist. Two years later, he completed a year-long wildlife tracking intensive, earning a Professional Wildlife Tracking certification through Tracker Certification North America.
This hands-on experience, paired with his academic background, empowered him to become a dedicated environmental educator—teaching science-based programs in schools, mentoring youth in outdoor settings as a nature-connection instructor, while guiding and directing rites of passage ceremonies for all ages.

At the heart of Osi’s work is a deep commitment to place-based skills such as wildlife tracking, bird language, and natural movement. He believes that developing an ecological sense of self is fundamental to health, sanity, and kincentric embodiment.

When he’s not leading educational programs, you’ll likely find Osi marveling at birds in the forest, crawling on the ground to study tracks, or taking a rejuvenating plunge in the Animas River. Through Four Corners Wildlife, Osi continues to inspire others to connect deeply with the living world and embrace the wisdom it offers.
